Hi, I’m Pete, the founder of fcs. I am an independent presentation designer, and Powerpoint expert, with more than two decades of agency experience delivering creative solutions for top brands.
While presentation design is my professional niche, my work is enhanced by years of design specializations including branding, print and digital advertising, user experience design, and content management.
I will work with you directly to develop a great presentation so you can confidently convey messages that drive results.

Discovery
We’ll kick off your project with a 20-minute phone call or virtual meeting to discuss your goals, brand identity, and timeline to ensure that your project goes smoothly.
Design
To ensure that I design a presentation that aligns with your goals, I will send the first 3-5 slides (depending on the size of your project) for review. Design reviews are provided as a PDF for you to comment on (all comments are tracked). I’ll make any necessary adjustments to align with your brand and vision and once approved will continue on with the rest of your slides.
Delivery
Your deck is complete and ready for your review! A PDF will be provided to track comments. I will work with you until you are completely satisfied, usually 1-2 rounds of revisions (revision versions are saved for reference). Once everything meets your expectations, I will deliver the finalized presentation as an editable file in the application requested.

I'm in a terrible rush, can you still help?
Depending on the scope of your project I may have flexibility for rush services. To cut your delivery time in half will incur a 100% rush charge. Please contact me for information.
Why shouldn't I hire just any graphic designer to do this?
Graphic design is a field that is all encompassing of the many varied creative specializations. You’d be surprised to know that most graphic designers do not use/understand PowerPoint. Nearly all graphic designers loathe the application, in fact.
PowerPoint is considered to be the black sheep when it comes to design software. Most designers do not consider it to be a legitimate design tool. I agree that PowerPoint is a very poor design tool. It is, however, by far the most superior presentation software on the market and is the undeniable industry standard.
The reason why you shouldn’t hire any graphic designer to work on your presentation is because they barely understand the limited design aspect of the application and have no idea how to take advantage of the horsepower behind the presentation architect. Sadly, you may lack the expertise to tell the difference when all is done. I can assure you, the money you put into that investment will not result in equal return in value.
What do you need from me to get started?
Once we have our initial discovery call, you can send me your content already in Powerpoint or in a Word or Google doc. If you have a particular vision for a slide, feel free to share an inspirational graphic or describe your vision. This will help streamline the process and minimize delivery time.
What if I don't have a style guide?
If you do not have a style guide, I can follow your website style to ensure consistency of your brand. If you do not have a website or it does not currently reflect the direction you’d like to go, feel free to send over any other designs or examples you may have or like. Alternatively, I can propose a design that represents your brand.
How do you source photos? Are those an additional charge?
There are a few sites that I can search for images from. But keep in mind, technically, those assets are licensed to me so if you are going to use them in the public domain you will need to license them to you or your company. I can provide image information so you can license, download, then send me the images. I can then place them in your presentation.
Will I be able to edit the final presentation?
Absolutely! There may be occasional design elements that are created with Photoshop or Illustrator and imported into your deck. I do try to design as much as possible in Powerpoint so all text is added in PowerPoint and easily editable. Chart, Graph and Infographic creation will be addressed during our Discovery call.
What if I’m not happy with the final product?
During our discovery meeting we will discuss creative direction and inspiration. I will design an initial 2-3 slides, to ensure that I am heading in the right direction creatively and I am the right designer for your project. If I am unable to create a design that you like during that process, you will not be charged.
What if I need changes after the project is complete?
No problem! We’ve already established a relationship. Creating an updated version of your existing presentation can be done at a very reasonable cost. This cost will depend on the extent of the updates. Simply send me a message and we can talk about your needs.
What if I don't want my content on your website?
That’s not a problem at all. Just let me know when we start working together and I’ll place a note in your client file to keep your content out of my gallery.
